The pleasure of making a positive difference in the lives of some one less fortunate cannot be quantified. Knowing that the actions that we are taking today will help make the world brighter for others is what life is about.
As a sponsor of Children’s International an organization “A humanitarian organization focused on helping overcome poverty through child sponsorship”. We have been given an opportunity to assist Children’s International further their mission.
On October 11, 2009 Champions for Children, our new running group will participate in the Chicago Marathon (26.2 mile run), and we will raise as much funds as possible for Children’s International as their first official Marathon Champions.
Children International’s mission is to help children living in dire poverty. Through the generosity of contributors, they provide needy children with a variety of programs and services to meet their basic needs, enhance their self-esteem and raise their physical and educational levels in a meaningful and lasting way. Since 1963, Children International has been providing assistance to children and families struggling in terrible poverty. The mission: To make myself my idea dream person but changing who I am now into the best person possible, and to encourage others to do the same. Make the world a better place for th e children and help our elders to leave with grace and dignity.

I am one person, but I am here to make a difference. I want to remove as much as the gloom and doom from this environment as possible and help other people with their positive goals.
